About the Event
Visit to Luxembourg’s Parliament – Programme
10:15 – Guided visit of the Chambre des Députés (Luxembourg Parliament) - in the company of MP Marc Lies and other members of Parliament from different political parties. All political parties have been officially invited and we will send you the final list of names before the visit, so you can prepare questions if you wish).
During the visit, we will focus in particular on:
How local and national politics interact in Luxembourg (communal councils, mayors and Parliament).
The dual role of many MPs who are also mayors or local councillors, and how this shapes their work and priorities.
Concrete examples of how local issues (housing, mobility, climate, inclusion, etc.) travel from the commune level to the national agenda.
