Picture Report #1 - Sharing Christmas 04/12/2025

Thank you to everyone who joined our “Sharing Christmas” event, which brought together around 100 participants, and a warm thank-you to the Ministry of Family Affairs, Solidarity, Living Together and Reception for its support.

We are living through a period of multiple crises and rapid transformations, which can be particularly confusing when you are self-employed and have little institutional support if things go wrong. That is why this event focused on authentic human connection and community in the real world: taking the time to get to know each other, to craft beautiful Christmas decorations, and to remember that we are not isolated individuals but part of a vibrant and diverse community.

As independent workers, we can choose to support each other, share our strengths and resources, and build a better life together – or face challenges alone. At the Union of Independent Workers, we clearly choose solidarity, mutual support and collective action. If you are self-employed and would like to feel less alone on this journey, you are very welcome to join us.

May you all have a peaceful holiday season and a successful 2026.
