Hello everyone,
I am Clara Moraru, president of the Independent Workers Union.
In this series, we will be exploring the world of the Independent Workers / the self employed in Luxembourg and we will be shedding light on the challenges and opportunities they face. Let's dive in!
Myth #1: the independent workers’ fees are too high!
The reality is that independent workers often have to set their fees higher to cover the costs of running their own business, including taxes and social contributions.
While some may view their fees as too high, it is important to understand the additional financial burden independent workers must bear in order to provide their services.
Let’s take the example of one of our members, who invoices his clients 100 eur/hour for his independent work offering marketing/communication consultancy.

Thanks, this is clear, and useful - What if, in your different scenarios, the person would operate in the legal form of an sarl-s / sarl simplifiée? What would the numbers look like then?
